Decorative upper limb prosthesis is also called decorative hand. This kind of prosthetic hand does not have the
functions of labor and self-care, it is only designed to compensate for the defects of physical appearance. It only
plays the role of appearance decoration and limb balance. It is mostly used for patients who have difficulty in
performing the function of the residual limb, such as amputation, short upper arm residual limb, shoulder joint
disconnection, and upper limb belt liberation, and inconvenience to install mechanical prosthesis. Of course, for
those who are unable or unwilling to install a hands-on forearm or upper arm amputee, decorative hands can also
be fitted. |
