| Usage |
Shoulder disarticulation prostheses are suitable for amputees with shoulder joint dissection, upper extremity band amputation (scapula and clavicle amputation), high upper arm amputation, and residual limb length less than 30%
(usually within 8cm below the acromion).
Due to the loss of the patient's entire upper limb function, it is difficult to use the movement of the shoulder to pull
the traction cable to control the mechanical prosthetic hand, so it is usually equipped with an electric hand or a
decorative hand. |
